Wakeboarding/Canyon Lake
Yesterday my parents invited my brother and I to Canyon Lake. I think we all got in some good runs with the wakeboard. My brother Mike cleared the wake which I havn't seen him do before. I landed my second 180 of the summer. My mom learnd how to ride off and on the wake. and my dad landed some pretty sick jumps. Go mom and dad! and thanks for inviting us!

WHAT LAURA SAYS acoustic show
WHAT LAURA SAYS "on the fence"
WHAT LAURA SAYS "bloom cheek"
Amazing Show! This little venue they are playing at is called "modified Arts" in Phoenix AZ. I think this was probably one of the best performances I've ever seen from these guys. These two songs are from the new album called "Bloom Cheek". Check it out!

Scull Cave

photogaphy, art & text ©Jacob GarnMy fambly, my friend, and I went on a crazy hike at Canyon Lake the other day. We climbed a mountain looking for a cave called Scull Cave. We never found it. Probably because we got lost and it was getting dark. We made a fire and almost had to spend the night on the mountain. So after about 5 hours of stumbling in the dark over lots of cactuses, we found our way back to the boat. Above are some pics I took from the trip.

Bulldog Canyon Hike
Today my friend Taylor Brimhall, his dog Cooper and I went on an awesome adventure through the wild west. I don't know what the hike was called. I think it might have just been an old dirt road with no name. The area we hiked through is called Bulldog canyon. I think it was around 6 miles not including the times we got lost. We would have hiked further but it was starting to get dark. It was really awesome. Finally I'd like to say that Cooper was very brave when we had to pull a cactus out of his paw. and it reminded me of this. "Now when you pick a pawpaw or a prickly pear and you prick a raw paw... Well, next time beware. Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw. When you pick a pear try to use the claw. But you don't need to use the claw when you pick a pear of the big pawpaw. Have I given you a clue?" -The Jungle Book

This is probably one of my favorite hikes. This is Weaver's Needle from Fremont Saddle at the top of Peralta Trail. See the little pine tree? Thats where we are standing in the second photo.
